How do I reset a users password?
As a coach or administrator, you can reset a trainees password. To do this the trainee will need to be within your location scope within the Company. Essentially this means they're within a region, store, or department that you can view within your RedSeed dashboard.
Firstly, you need to get the users EDIT USER screen — you can either do a quick search for the user or click on their name on the dashboard, to display their USER DASHBOARD.
Then click the EDIT USER button.
There are two options for resetting a users password:
- Let the RedSeed LMS generate a random password.
- Setting, or defining, the password yourself.
OPTION1. GENERATING A RANDOM PASSWORD.
OPTION 2. SETTING THE PASSWORD YOURSELF.
NOTE: The password will need to contain at least 1 UPPERCASE letter, 1 lowercase letter and a number from 0-9.
QUICK TIP: You can track the password reset email to see if it's been delivered from within the EMAIL tab of the USER LOG panel on the USER DASHBOARD.
