How the course 'due date' setting works
The ‘due date’ setting on a course marks when it should be completed. If not completed by then, the learning is considered ‘overdue’.
Notifications for coaches
Coaches receive an email notification every Friday if:
- Any team member has an enrolment that became ‘overdue’ in the last three months.
- Any team member has an enrolment ‘due’ in the next seven days.
Notifications for trainees
Trainees receive notifications any day if:
- An enrolment is ‘due’ in the next 24 hours.
- An enrolment was ‘due’ in the last hour.
PLEASE NOTE: Email notifications only state that there is ‘overdue’ learning. Specific details can be found by logging into RedSeed LMS.
Changing the due date on a course
When you change the due date for a course:
- All incomplete enrolments will have their due date updated.
- Completed enrolments will not be affected.
PLEASE NOTE: If changing the ‘due date’ causes an enrolment to become ‘overdue’, the team member may not be notified. However, the coach will be notified on the next Friday if the due date was within the last three months.
Updating the ‘due date’ may take a few minutes to reflect on all enrolments.
Reporting on overdue learning
- The ‘due date’ for an enrolment is shown in the Training Detail report.
- Team members with learning that’s ‘overdue’ or ‘due soon’ will have a warning indicator (orange dot) next to their name on the Location Dashboard.
- The learning’s ‘due date’ is also shown on the enrolment card on the learner’s Dashboard.
