Working across multiple locations (for managers)
If you look after more than one location — for example several stores, sites, or regions — RedSeed can give you access to all of them from a single login. Instead of juggling separate accounts, you switch between your locations from your dashboard, working in one at a time.
What this means for you
- You can be assigned to multiple locations and move between them whenever you need to.
- At any moment you're working in one location — your current location. Everything you see (your team members, their training and coaching, dashboard figures, and reports) reflects the location you're currently in.
- Switching changes your view only. It never changes your team's data or moves anyone between locations.
Before you start
Your administrator sets this up for you — you don't enable it yourself:
- Your organisation needs the multiple-locations feature turned on.
- Your administrator assigns you to each location you should be able to manage.
If you think you should have access to more locations, contact your RedSeed administrator and ask them to add you.
How to switch between your locations
- Open your location dashboard.
- Near the top of the page, find the Your location dropdown.
- Select the location you want to work in.
The dashboard reloads and shows the location you chose. RedSeed remembers your selection, so you'll pick up in that same location next time you log in — until you switch again.
Tip: The Your location dropdown only appears if you're assigned to more than one location. If you only manage one, you won't see it (and won't need it).
What changes when you switch
When you move to a different location, RedSeed re-focuses everything around it:
- Team members — you see the people in that location (and any locations beneath it).
- Training & coaching — progress, completions, and coaching all reflect the selected location.
- Dashboard & reports — figures and reports are scoped to where you currently are.
You're always working within one location and the locations beneath it — not a combined view of everything at once.
Troubleshooting
I can't see the "Your location" dropdown.
It only shows when you're assigned to more than one location and your organisation has the feature enabled. If you manage multiple sites but don't see it, contact your administrator.
A location is missing from the list.
The dropdown only lists the locations you've been assigned to. Ask your administrator to add you to any location that's missing.
Will switching affect my team?
No. Switching only changes what you see. It doesn't alter anyone's training, coaching, or which location they belong to.
