How do I get a certificate?
Finished a course and want proof of it? This article walks you through downloading a certificate as a trainee, grabbing one on behalf of a team member, and generating certificates in bulk if you're an administrator.
PLEASE NOTE: Not all RedSeed courses offer a certificate upon completion.
Generating a certificate for a course you've completed
As a Trainee
- Log in and click Learning in the top menu.
- Find your course under the Completed Training section and open it.
- If a certificate is available, you'll see a Download certificate button - click it to open your certificate in a new tab.
As a Manager, Coach or Administrator (single certificate)
Need to grab a certificate for someone on your team? Here's how:
- Find the team member, either via the search in the header menu (top right-hand corner) or from your dashboard.
- Open the Learning tab on their profile - it shows the same sections as their own My Learning page.
- Find the course under Completed Training and open it.
- If a certificate is available and you have permission to view it, click Download certificate to open it in a new tab.
Generating bulk certificates as an Administrator
Got a whole group to certify? No need to do them one by one - the bulk certificates report will generate them all into a single PDF for you.
Note: this report is only available to administrator users.
- Click Reports in the top menu, then Admin, then Certificates. Choose the required location, course or courses, user status, and completion date range.
- Click Submit and you'll get a list of matching users.
- Select all certificates using the checkbox in the first column header, or pick individual rows. Then click Generate Bulk PDF.
- The file will start downloading - it can take a few minutes if you've selected a lot, since the PDF may be quite large. You'll be prompted to save or open it as usual. If your browser handles PDFs itself, you may need to choose "save target as" first, then open it with a PDF viewer like Adobe Reader.
