Interactions
The 'interactive' section allows you to add activities which require your learner to click and interact with the content. This is great for engagement.
Important: Learners must complete all interactions on a page before they can move on in the course. You can not make an interactive optional.
Flip cards
How it works: Learners read the front of the card and have to click on it to see the information on the back.
Great for: Definitions, short explanations, examples and summarising key points.
Hint: You can change a flip card from text to an image in the section settings.
Accordion
How it works: Learners see rows of headings or statements, and they must click on each row to reveal more information.
Great for: Displaying lots of information in a compact space—this helps to avoid overwhelming your learners!
Hint: Add more rows to your accordion or change their order in the section settings.
Hotspot image
How it works: Learners see an image with '+' buttons on it. They must click the buttons to reveal more information about that part of the image.
Great for: Describing or annotating parts of an image. This can be helpful for examples and processes.
Hint: Change the image in your hotspot by clicking the '...' button in the top right corner. You can add, remove or change the order of the '+' buttons in the section settings.
Tabs
How it works: Learners must click between tabs to see the information that relates to each one.
Great for: Comparisons between two or three topics.
Hint: Add, remove or change the order of your tabs in the section settings.
Checkbox list
How it works: Learners see a list of statements and must tick the box next to each one.
Great for: Getting your learner to acknowledge and agree with a list of skills, behaviours or statements.
Hint: Add, remove or change the order of your list items in the section settings.
Slides
How it works: Learners see a slide of information and must click the arrow to see the next slide.
Great for: Explaining a process or something that involves multiple steps in an order.
Hint: Add, remove or change the order of your slides in the section settings.
